1, Machining ability

Nierson manufactures internal and external involute and straight sided splines and gears as well as serrations by hobbing, broaching, shaping and rolling with material with materials bronze, steel alloys, stainless steels and aluminum alloy and heat treating levels for planetary gearbox and other types of applications. Both internal and external splines and gears can be cut using our CNC gear cutting machines, including internal or external helical splines and gears. Hobbed splines can be made in lengths up to 1,000mm, depending on the diameter. Shorter splines can be cut up to 800mm in diameter.
